About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to customer experience
  • Use Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, PowerShell, JavaScript, Alteryx, Python, and relational databases to provide analytical support on strategies
  • Evaluate data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies
  • Recommend ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed decisions using data analysis outputs
  • Analyze financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends
  • Improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance
  • Coordinate production of product performance reports and updates for senior management
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Work with Product Management to exceed business, team, and enterprise reporting and governance standards
  • Implement scalable automated solutions and solve short-term business needs while supporting long-term vision
  • Collaborate with team members, customers, and subject matter experts
  • Conduct user acceptance testing
  • Create, review, and monitor requirements documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst, Process/Project Manager, or similar role in the financial services industry
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, customers, and subject matter experts
  • Ability to clarify requirements and complete user acceptance testing
  • Ability to combine business acumen with analytical skills and interpret large amounts of data
  • Ability to synthesize multiple analyses into coherent messages and translate them into actionable insights
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project delivery dates
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and on team projects, executing on time and with precision
  • Ability to create, review, and monitor requirement documents supporting repeatability, business continuity, governance, and audit requirements
  • Ability to stay current with Bank of America-approved software and applications
  • Strong technical knowledge of JavaScript, Tableau, PowerShell, SQL, Alteryx, Python, PowerQuery, VBA, and Nintex
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience (desired)
  • Knowledge of agile methodology (desired)
  • Business understanding of Global Operations (desired)
  • Ability to work first shift in the United States of America
  • Availability for 40 hours per week
