About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform advanced analytics on financial, market, and portfolio data to identify opportunities to improve risk, profitability, and operational performance
  • Own end-to-end analytical workstreams, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for business partners and senior leadership
  • Identify and communicate key trends based on economic conditions and portfolio performance to enable proactive decision-making
  • Partner with Risk, Product, Operations, FLU, and other cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and large-scale programs
  • Develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions for performance monitoring, forecasting, and operational execution
  • Mentor peers and provide technical guidance as a subject matter expert
  • Communicate solutions, influence stakeholders, and drive scalable continuous improvement across SSFO

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years financial industry experience
  • 2+ years of experience using SAS or SQL
  • Demonstrated advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level insights
  • Understanding of workflow, SLAs, and operational performance metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in workforce optimization
  • Experience partnering with FLU and cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to tell a clear story with data
  • Strong critical thinking
  • Strong hands-on proficiency expected in several of the following: SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, PowerQuery, data visualization and storytelling techniques, JavaScript, PowerShell, Copilot GitHub
  • Experience building scalable reporting and analytics solutions
  • Experience supporting centralized reporting environments, data governance, or control frameworks
  • Preferred: Experience developing and delivering strategic recommendations
  • Preferred: Experience managing undedicated resources or influencing without authority
