About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage clients and related credit products
- Partner with relationship management, sales/trading, treasury management, operations and risk teams
- Underwrite, monitor, and manage operational needs and client requests
- Administer, monitor, review, and analyze a designated portfolio of tax equity and debt project financings
- Support execution of tranche fundings for closed tax equity and project finance transactions
- Prepare periodic status review documents and risk rating scorecards
- Adhere to transaction management and monitoring requirements under Bank of America’s Credit Policy and guidelines
- Respond to senior credit and risk management inquiries
- Interact with originators, credit underwriting, risk management, engineering support, modelling, legal officers, and clients
- Review and negotiate transaction document modifications and restructurings
- Assess clients’ credit needs and create solutions
- Lead loan structure conversations and negotiate loan documentation
- Drive credit and risk approval processes for originations, renewals, increases, and modifications
- Monitor client portfolios for regulatory, policy, and procedural compliance
- Perform project performance and financial reviews
- Monitor transaction counterparties and ensure compliance with transaction agreements
- Evaluate and process consent requests, amendments, waivers, and extensions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in banking or finance industry in corporate credit, tax equity, project finance and/or renewable energy
- Ability to review, understand and interpret legal documentation of complex transactions and their impact on credit exposure
- Ability to work efficiently and productively on multiple transactions or tasks at one time
- Ability to independently lead diligence efforts, make approval recommendations, and execute timely funding
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
