About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage clients and related credit products
  • Partner with relationship management, sales/trading, treasury management, operations, and risk teams
  • Underwrite, monitor, and manage operational needs and client requests
  • Assess clients’ credit needs and create solutions
  • Lead loan structure conversations and negotiate loan documentation
  • Drive credit and risk approval processes for new originations, renewals, increases, and modifications
  • Lead ongoing monitoring for a portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Drive growth of funded loans and revenue while mitigating risks and maintaining asset quality
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex credit transactions
  • Mentor and support associates
  • Assess borrower creditworthiness using due diligence, financial statement analysis, forecasting, company and industry risk analysis, terms and conditions, and relationship profitability
  • Exercise Delegated Approval Authority to make credit approval decisions
  • Lead new credit originations in collaboration with coverage teams and product partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years Corporate/Commercial credit experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting and corporate finance
  • Strong understanding of legal credit agreements
  • Strong knowledge of ancillary bank products, including treasury, cash management, and derivatives
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Ability to coach junior teammates
  • Specific experience within Technology, Media, Telecom & Gaming industries desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related desired
  • Ability to work in an office-based environment under role-specific attendance requirements
  • 40 hours per week
  • 1st shift
