About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set data architecture direction for strategic cybersecurity initiatives within Global Information Security
  • Shape trusted, governed, and reusable security data assets for threat detection, exposure management, identity analytics, and compliance reporting
  • Design and govern conceptual, logical, and physical data models for secure, scalable analytics, reporting, logging, and monitoring
  • Establish and maintain data contracts, mappings, metadata, lineage, and documentation for trusted, reusable data products
  • Advance data virtualization and pipeline strategies across federated and centralized platforms
  • Drive security telemetry standardization using frameworks such as OCSF
  • Define real-time, batch, event-driven, and API-based integration patterns across cybersecurity platforms
  • Partner with governance, privacy, and data quality teams on standards, controls, lineage, and reconciliation
  • Lead architecture reviews to apply enterprise data principles and reduce risk
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, stakeholder education, and support for team capability and standards maturity
  • Work on initiatives including USEM, ServiceNow CMDB/vulnerability and asset migrations, GenAI-enabled threat hunting, IAM Common Information Model, logging and monitoring standardization, and compliance-finding pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years designing and implementing complex data architecture, including hands-on delivery as a Data Architect or closely related senior role
  • Strong command of data management principles, relational and dimensional data modeling, and data integration patterns
  • Experience authoring conceptual, logical, semantic, and physical models, metadata, and source-to-target mappings for multi-source environments
  • In-depth understanding of data governance, data security, and data privacy concepts, including critical data elements, lineage, data dictionaries, data sharing agreements, SLAs, and data management standards
  • Hands-on experience with SAP PowerDesigner, Erwin Data Modeler, and modern data platforms
  • Strong SQL and Python skills with experience across relational and NoSQL systems and big data environments
  • Understanding of real-time, batch, and event-based data provisioning, ETL/ELT, and API-based provisioning patterns
  • Experience with data quality measurement, scorecards, controls, remediation, and reconciliation techniques
  • Ability to independently architect solutions, lead design and code reviews, and ensure quality throughout delivery
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts for technical and executive audiences using Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel; comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Experience working on Agile teams and with Agile SDLC tooling
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 40 hours per week
