About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive efforts to develop and deliver complex data solutions for technology and business goals
- Lead code design and delivery for data integration, cleaning, transformation, and control
- Liaise with vendors and collaborate with stakeholders, Product, and Software Engineering teams
- Analyze performance and research and troubleshoot system engineering issues
- Execute regulatory projects requiring data lineage and drive data platform migration initiatives
- Work on data migration, intensive testing, and security/compliance assurance projects
- Lead story refinement and delivery of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Code complex solutions and build data transformation processes, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependency, and workload management
- Assemble complex data sets and communicate deployment information
- Document system requirements and collaborate with development teams on data requirements and feasibility
- Lead testing teams; develop test plans; contribute to integration, regression, and performance test suites; analyze reports; and lead issue triage
- Close gaps in data management standards adherence with technology partners and stakeholders
- Lead complex IT projects, define and build data pipelines, and ensure on-time delivery and adherence to release and risk-management processes
- Mentor Data Engineers and monitor key performance indicators and internal controls
- Manage Authoritative Data Sourcing (ADS)
- Manage regulatory reporting data lineage
- Create automation and scripts for functionality, data migration, reconciliation, and integrity validation
- Work with database architects, database developers, application, and security teams to resolve issues
- Execute database migration projects
- Support cutover execution and post-migration stabilization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–10 years of applicable experience
- Strong hands-on experience with RDBMS, including Sybase ASE, IBM DB2 (LUW), or Oracle database platforms
- Data Lineage and Authoritative Data Sourcing (ADS) sourcing management experience
- Experience with database migrations
- Experience working with ETL tools, especially Informatica
- Knowledge of best practices and regulated environments preferred
- Strong knowledge and skills in database technologies
- Data Migration and Reconciliation knowledge
- Performance engineering
- Performance and volume testing
- Ability to work in a large team environment with various skills and stakeholders
- 40 hours per week
- 1st shift (United States of America)
