About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover potential revenue generation opportunities and develop risk management strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and devise data-driven solutions
  • Perform business analytics, including data analysis, trend identification, and pattern recognition, using machine learning, text mining, and statistical analysis
  • Apply Agile practices for project management, solution development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Develop, test, and deploy data science, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering business requirements, specifications, and production implementation
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver quantitative models, data science products, data analysis reports, and data visualizations
  • Present technical concepts and analysis results to internal stakeholders through in-person and virtual conversations
  • Develop professional relationships and collaborate across Global Risk Analytics, Global Technology, Global Compliance & Operational Risk, and other business teams
  • Identify potential issues and develop controls to mitigate risk
  • Research advances in data science and artificial intelligence
  • Support automation, analytics, modeling, model governance, and innovative solutions across risk, compliance, and technology domains

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
  • 1+ years of experience applying data science, machine learning, analytics, or automation techniques to solve business problems, including internships or equivalent experience where appropriate
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments and using project management tools such as Jira
  • Experience developing solutions using Python and SQL
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and associated frameworks and tools, including LangChain, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and LangGraph
  • Experience with Git and modern software development practices
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Desired: Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
  • Desired: Experience building GenAI applications, copilots, agents, or workflow automation solutions
  • Desired: Familiarity with model governance, model risk management, or AI governance frameworks
  • Desired: Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integration
  • Desired: Experience with software testing, code reviews, and development best practices
