About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure and maintain tools and services providing CI/CD services
  • Validate access control mechanisms throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Review application server configurations and CI/CD platform onboarding prerequisites
  • Monitor and respond to CI/CD service usage requests and KPI alerts
  • Address risk and audit issues related to access control, separation of duties, release management standards, and policies
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Solutions, and Site Reliability Engineers on platform changes, monitoring, and alerting
  • Create and contribute to CI/CD platform service documentation
  • Execute approved change tickets for CI/CD service onboarding and decommissioning
  • Provide operational support for Horizon’s build and deploy tools, including Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible Tower, XLR, Red Hat OpenShift, containers, Maven, MSBuild, and Python pipelines
  • Analyze application and system errors and performance issues
  • Investigate application stability and chronic critical issues, improve maintenance processes and automation, and lead root-cause remediation
  • Provide on-call support for production releases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, Ansible Tower, Digital's XLR, TOSCA, QTest, Octane, and Red Hat OpenShift Containers
  • Ability to triage and troubleshoot code-related and platform issues, identify root causes, and provide corrective action
  • Understanding of code related to Java, .NET, Python, Scala, Node.js, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and cloud programming technologies
  • Experience with Terraform and AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift
  • Hands-on experience creating playbooks and automation tasks
  • Experience with application installation, maintenance, and integration with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Bitbucket
  • Expertise in Unix systems, Bash, and Ksh scripting
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
  • 7+ years of production support experience
  • Good understanding of Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases
  • Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)
  • 40 hours per week
