About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support independent second-line Compliance and Operational Risk oversight of Transaction Reporting and Enterprise Position Monitoring & Disclosures across the Americas region
  • Conduct independent review and challenge of TR and EPMD activities for compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
  • Provide oversight of regulatory changes, control enhancements and remediation initiatives
  • Perform monitoring, targeted assessments and risk-based coverage activities to assess process and control effectiveness
  • Support second-line data testing to independently review the accuracy of transaction reporting and EPMD submissions
  • Assist with developing and maintaining training, procedures and guidance
  • Review and challenge FLU processes, risks, controls, Single Process Inventory and Risk and Control Self-Assessments
  • Review and challenge reporting incidents, disclosure issues and remediation activities, including root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders on regulatory requirements and remediation activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of Transaction Reporting, EPMD or other regulatory reporting requirements
  • Compliance, Operational Risk, Regulatory Reporting or related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to analyze regulatory requirements and apply them to business scenarios and reporting processes
  • Desire to understand complex regulatory requirements and continuously develop technical expertise
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment when assessing reporting data and regulatory, operational and control-related matters
  • Ability to identify regulatory nuances, assess complex fact patterns and ensure accurate application of requirements
  • Ability to identify, assess and support resolution of regulatory and operational risk issues
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across business, operations and risk functions
  • Ability to communicate regulatory and risk matters clearly and concisely to a variety of stakeholders
  • Global Markets experience preferred
