About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and maintain a robust operating model for governed Enterprise data product development, certification, and publishing
- Design and deliver a scalable operating model for AMI’s core tools and platforms, including Starburst
- Provide thought leadership to drive strategic objectives and improve data product development and consumption
- Maintain applications and tools in compliance with external regulations and Bank internal mandates
- Complete risk, security, and compliance requirements for supported applications on time
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure health and performance, including vulnerability remediation, software upgrades, and enhancements
- Coordinate with service providers and partners to ensure environmental stability, compliance, and SLA adherence
- Oversee risk/control design, implement access controls, and establish QA practices
- Perform control testing, quality inspections, case execution, and results reporting
- Own issue identification, remediation, thematic trends, test-script updates, coaching, automation, and AI opportunities
- Assist with regulatory exams, audits, evidence, metrics, and report-outs
- Track and support development team security and risk activities, including application risk assessments
- Partner with executive stakeholders to align governance, risk, and operational strategies with enterprise objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Innovative, forward-looking thinker with process-redesign experience
- Ability to lead through influence and translate complex technical topics into clear, executive-ready narratives
- Self-directed, organized, results-oriented, and attentive to documentation and detail
- Knowledge of industry regulations including GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and PCI-DSS
- Experience identifying and mitigating compliance risks related to data privacy, security, and operational processes
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation techniques
- Understanding of application architecture and integration points
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business language for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to align application functionality with organizational goals and compliance requirements
- Experience maintaining application inventory, lifecycle documentation, version control, and compliance records
- Experience supporting technical, data, analytics, modeling, or data-platform teams
- Experience with data platforms, cloud computing, machine learning, statistics, data science, BI, or AI-enabled capabilities
- Understanding of relational and non-relational database concepts, data modeling, query optimization, and secure data management
- PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with risk frameworks, Single Process Inventory (SPI), and IT governance models
- Ability to prepare documentation and evidence for internal/external audit review
- Ability to work first shift in the United States of America
- Full-time availability, 40 hours per week
