About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with Segment Lead, LOB Lead, Marketing, and LOB partners to execute programs
  • Develop event strategies aligned with line-of-business goals and priorities
  • Partner with Events Segment Executives to develop strategic objectives, budgets, and execution plans
  • Coordinate end-to-end planning, management, and execution of events
  • Create detailed budgets and source event services
  • Create invitations and agendas
  • Manage GEMS/cVent planning technology sites
  • Manage attendees and event logistics, including menus, audio/visual, and IT
  • Produce pre- and post-event reporting
  • Process invoices and reconcile events
  • Advise and direct assigned vendor planners
  • Ensure events follow company guidelines and manage event-related risks
  • Engage Compliance, Legal, Risk, Corporate Security, and Corporate Communication partners as needed
  • Coordinate complex in-person and virtual events
  • Travel to events and oversee vendors onsite with teammates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of event planning and execution experience or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of event planning processes, including contracting, logistics, onsite execution, budget management, and reconciliation
  • Stakeholder management, including experience with external partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including demonstrated executive presence
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adjust to new or changing situations
  • Strong interest, eagerness, passion for the work, and positive approach
  • Travel 30–40% of the time
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work 1st shift
