About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage executive travel scheduling and commercial flight reservations using Sabre
- Design, deliver, and communicate travel schedules
- Coordinate, update, and cancel employee travel arrangements
- Arrange domestic and international air, rail, car, and hotel travel using Native Sabre/GDS in coordination with Corporate Aviation
- Act as the primary contact for employee travel-related inquiries
- Communicate timely updates, changes, and employee needs
- Follow Bank of America corporate travel policies and procedures
- Operate travel tools and technology productively and efficiently
- Provide direct support to senior management for future travel scheduling and coordination
- Provide consultative advice, solutions, and recommendations while adhering to expense standards
- Complete required training and comply with legal standards, compliance requirements, and sanctions
- Deliver individual and shared team goals and business KPIs; review and improve performance
- Handle end-to-end booking, ticketing, and order fulfillment by telephone, messaging, or email
- Provide service across phone, email, and chat channels while meeting customer satisfaction and efficiency KPIs
- Use positive telephone service techniques and maintain excellent client relations
- Review and reconfirm executive travel reservations/PNRs for ticketing, accuracy, critical client issues, vendor services, and lowest fares
- Provide evening and weekend support on a rotational schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years experience working with Native Sabre or other GDS system
- Prior experience in Business (Corporate) Travel or supporting executive travel needs/requests
- Experience working in a high-touch service environment and providing White Gloved client service where performance is measured
- Demonstrated learning agility and ability to act on constructive feedback
- Self-starter and self-motivated with exceptional judgment skill to exceed in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge and/or experience booking air, rail, hotel, and car/transportation needs
- Experience calculating and processing exchanges
- Understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel travel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve critical issues
- Ability to make critical decisions quickly and effectively
- Ability to research and resolve customer service and traveler issues independently and/or with suppliers
- Understanding of travel trends and industry standard processes
- Polished oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Ability to handle personal and confidential traveler information sensitively and with integrity
- Problem-solving and process improvement attitude
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain professional rapport, multitask, and adapt quickly to change
- Strong MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Effective planning and organization skills
- Minimum education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Ability to positively influence team and peers
