About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, optimize, and deliver best-in-class digital experiences from concept through implementation
  • Apply product design capabilities across user experience and visual design
  • Partner with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate across product design, content design, design research, design operations, and design technology
  • Create developer-ready low- to high-fidelity artifacts, assets, and prototypes
  • Design experiences across web, mobile web, and native iOS and Android apps
  • Support evaluative testing, user testing, usability studies, and research-informed customer journey refinement
  • Evaluate and benchmark existing product and service experiences
  • Participate in design critiques and support other designers
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
  • Follow design-system patterns and contribute to best practices, innovation, technology, and AI experiences
  • Deliver software solutions, deliverables, or reporting within time, scope, and budget
  • Provide support throughout the end-to-end product-development lifecycle
  • Communicate with teammates, partners, and stakeholders
  • Incorporate feedback independently and complete tasks with support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of industry design experience in a multidisciplinary product design role
  • Portfolio showcasing proven expertise
  • Experience designing multi-channel consumer-facing apps, responsive web, and websites
  • Experience with complex system, user, ecommerce, and transactional experiences
  • Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Experience with Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Agile
  • Track record working with cross-functional product development and design teams to ship customer-facing digital products
  • Ability to design with a design system and within brand guidelines
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design
  • Experience leveraging AI agents or assistants in production
  • High proficiency in Figma, Copilot, Lovable, and Claude Code
  • Strong communication, presentation, listening, and storytelling skills
  • Strong problem-solving, time-management, collaboration, adaptability, and relationship-building skills
  • Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Financial or similar industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree with corresponding product design experience
  • Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol), JIRA, and Confluence
  • Must comply with FDIC-related hiring restrictions
