About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Craft, optimize, and deliver human-centered content across digital products
- Create cohesive end-to-end product and experience narratives across platforms
- Partner with product management, business partners, legal, risk, engineering, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with product design, design research, design operations, and design technology teams
- Develop content strategy, value propositions, information architectures, content models, taxonomies, conversation flows, prototypes, specifications, and production copy
- Contribute to content audits, complex content models, semantic systems, taxonomies, and reusable content systems
- Design and evolve content for AI-powered and multimodal experiences, including conversational interfaces, agents, search, recommendations, decision-support tools, web, mobile web, and native apps
- Define, review, and improve prompts, responses, agent behaviors, voice, tone, taxonomy, and content quality
- Apply voice and tone, brand expression, plain language, accessibility, localization awareness, conversation design, and WCAG standards
- Use data, research, testing, analytics, and A/B testing to inform content choices and priorities
- Evaluate and benchmark product and service experiences using heuristics, competitive insights, and content best practices
- Present content rationale, contribute to design critiques, and serve as a resource to other designers
- Manage concurrent projects with minimal guidance, negotiate scope, inform timelines and estimates, and resolve blockers
- Advance content standards, design-system patterns, governance practices, and reusable frameworks
- Present independently and influence decisions through written, verbal, visual, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Onboard newer peers and socialize learnings across teams
- Deliver XD solutions and reporting within time, scope, and budget
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of industry design experience in multidisciplinary content design
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise across complex end-to-end digital experiences
- Experience delivering content and messaging for complex systems, AI-enabled platforms, or enterprise-scale products
- Experience designing intelligent systems, including search, discovery, recommendations, agents, conversational interfaces, or decision-support tools
- Experience developing content for multi-channel consumer-facing apps, responsive web, and websites
- Expert understanding of user-centered design principles and practices
- Experience with Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Agile
- Track record working with cross-functional product development and design teams to ship customer-facing digital products
- Advanced experience with content systems, content models, taxonomies, and design systems
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative data, user research, evaluative testing, analytics, or A/B testing
- Experience leveraging AI agents, automation, or assistants in shipping and production
- Proficiency with Figma, Copilot, Content Management Systems, Lovable, and Claude Code
- Strong cross-functional relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills
- Self-motivated problem-solving, issue resolution, and time management skills
- Strong interest in self-learning content design, AI, data, and technology skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Legal, risk, regulatory, and domain knowledge
- High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent required
- Financial or similar regulated industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree with corresponding content design experience desired
- Knowledge of MCP, CMS, JIRA, and Confluence desired
- Must be able to work onsite in accordance with workplace excellence policy if selected
