About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions
Design, develop, and remain accountable for feature delivery
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs
Align technical solutions with business objectives and enterprise standards
Ensure coding practices and quality comply with software development standards
Conduct multiple software implementations using broad and deep technical competency
Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality
Ensure solutions meet product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
Guide the team on work breakdown, execution, planning, estimation, peer reviews, and engineering practices
Work with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy product backlog with clear acceptance criteria
Serve as an individual-contributor team lead and mentor team members
Continuously monitor applications, files, and user access controls for security compliance and remediate issues
Develop, test, implement, and support software solutions in compliance with business, regulatory, and enterprise requirements
Lead and coordinate code deployments and release activities with business and technology stakeholders
Support and maintain complex custom applications in a 24x6 production environment
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Collaborate with UNIX and Windows administrators, network engineers, information security teams, and vendor partners
Participate in production issue triage, maintenance, system upgrades, and application enhancements
Assist with architecture, design, and implementation of application enhancements and technical solutions
Monitor application performance, availability, and operational efficiency
Maintain compliance with operating system standards, file transfer protocols, software version requirements, and enterprise security policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 10 years of hands-on development experience stated in the position summary
8+ years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft development and API integration
Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting MuleSoft-based integrations and APIs
Proven experience as a hands-on developer able to code, troubleshoot, and implement solutions directly
Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity, integration patterns, and MuleSoft best practices
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Hands-on experience with Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies
Strong Java development experience
Experience integrating MuleSoft solutions with Oracle databases and enterprise applications
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced delivery environment
Strong expertise in containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, and Runtime Manager
Proficiency designing RESTful APIs and integrating with databases, SaaS, and legacy systems
MuleSoft certification(s) preferred
Knowledge of Agile process using Jira
Ability to work 1st shift, United States of America
40 hours per week
