About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with high-net-worth individuals to identify needs, develop relationships, review financial goals, and deliver comprehensive recommendations
  • Develop a book of business to meet and exceed established performance hurdles
  • Source prospective clients, capitalize on referrals, assess customer needs, refer customers to internal specialists, and execute customized solutions
  • Recommend suitable investment products and services based on client objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile, and preferences
  • Balance investment growth, referral activities, customer follow-up, prospect building, administrative compliance, and professional development
  • Organize and manage time, people, and budget to run a productive practice
  • Seek specialist expertise to identify planning and investment strategies
  • Provide tailored and personalized advice through client reviews and presentations
  • Partner with management to assess financial goals and recommend investment advisory strategies
  • Shadow Financial Advisor teams, build networks, share market developments, and discuss new products
  • Leverage technology and available resources to optimize customer experience and operational accuracy
  • Participate in ongoing training focused on book-of-business development and financial targets
  • Build relationships with internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Proactively manage risk across business, product, and service transactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
  • 4+ years of progressive professional and/or military experience
  • 2+ years experience in investments industry
  • Ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within allotted program time
  • Ability to register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing under SAFE Act requirements
  • Required SAFE Act background check
  • Strong time and capacity management
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with all clients
  • Ability to navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability
  • Experience in financial services and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a business-related field
  • Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation
  • Experience balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC preferred
  • Insurance licenses preferred
