About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle moderately complex operations processes related to credit disputes, escalations and tax reporting
  • Perform analysis, research, reconciliation, reporting data validation and resolution of issues and customer requests
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly quality assurance functions related to tax payments, federal and state tax filings, withholding inquiries, reversals and manual withholding adjustments
  • Reconcile tax withholding ledgers daily and identify and escalate variances
  • Complete monthly Frontier attestation for tax withholding ledgers
  • Review daily tax withholding payments for inline quality assurance before remittance to the IRS and states
  • Review manual processing for accuracy, completeness and timeliness using the Integrated Quality Systems workflow tool
  • Escalate issues or concerns identified during QA reviews to management
  • Collaborate with management and Tax Operations teams on process enhancements
  • Research and resolve financial data requests or exceptions
  • Perform routine analytics, report creation and exception processing
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate risk concerns
  • Provide quality service and support to internal business partners and external clients
  • Work overtime during tax season

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and decision making skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet daily deliverables
  • Proven effectiveness in a fast paced and demanding environment with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within and across teams
  • Demonstrates initiative and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Tax Withholding or related financial experience
  • Understanding of IRS rules and regulations
  • Ability to work first shift
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
