About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to clients
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location is determined within a reasonable commuting distance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66); if missing Series 66 but holding Series 63 or 65, must pass the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Effective goal setting and achievement
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to engage all clients confidently
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new information
  • Effective time and capacity management
  • Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies for clients
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Must complete required licenses and trainings
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration process
  • Monday–Friday availability and rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
