About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Obtain Securities Industry licenses through structured lessons and dedicated study time
  • Build foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships
  • Use a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Build business knowledge and grow a client network
  • Provide comprehensive financial advice and conduct client reviews and presentations
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners
  • Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill banking and investment solutions
  • Work with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a suitable financial center is determined
  • Progress toward Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II after demonstrating success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired
  • Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration process
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
  • Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Results-driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired)
  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) (desired)
  • Spanish speaking (desired)
  • Availability Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
