About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Obtain Securities Industry licenses through dedicated classes for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams
  • Build foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships
  • Consider clients’ complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions
  • Work in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care
  • Use a consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
  • Interact with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
  • Provide comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews and presentations
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners
  • Connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill solutions
  • Progress toward Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II after demonstrating success as a licensed FSA I

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
  • Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Results-driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
  • Must obtain the SIE within 30 days of being hired
  • Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration process
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Spanish speaking is a desired qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience is desired
  • Currently holding FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) is desired
