About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized financial solutions to clients
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to internal business and service partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money-managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals and financial center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Register under the SAFE Act and maintain registration
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within reasonable commuting distance is determined

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If holding only Series 63 or Series 65, must pass the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn, adapt to new information, and identify appropriate solutions for clients
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • SAFE Act registration, background check, and continued good standing required
  • Desired: bilingual Spanish speaking
  • Desired: strong computer skills and ability to multitask
  • Desired: at least three years of financial services and/or sales experience
  • Desired: CFP and/or CRPC designation
  • Desired: insurance licenses
