About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve financial goals
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners
- Complete required licenses and trainings
- Work Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays on first shift, 40 hours per week
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location is determined within a reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses, or Series 63 & 65 in lieu of Series 66
- If holding Series 63 or 65 instead of Series 66, obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days of offer
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and registration process
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Effective and confident communication skills; comfort engaging all clients
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek the right solutions for clients
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Spanish speaking is desired
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC are desired
- Insurance licenses are desired
