About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized financial solutions to clients
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to internal business and service partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals and financial center clientele
- Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center is determined within reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
- If holding Series 63 or Series 65 without Series 66, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent
- Must complete required licenses and training
- Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including registration, background check, and maintaining good standing
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
