About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help achieve financial goals
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to internal business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client needs
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Complete required licenses and trainings
- Register under the SAFE Act and maintain good standing
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until another financial center is determined based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66)
- If missing Series 66 but holding Series 63 or 65, must pass the missing series within 60 days
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new information
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and maintenance of good standing required
- Monday-Friday availability and rotating Saturdays
- Ability to work first shift, 40 hours per week
- Must work within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned financial center, as applicable
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask are desired
- Bilingual Spanish speaking is desired
- Three years’ experience in financial services and/or sales, CFP/CRPC designations, and insurance licenses are desired
