About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve financial goals
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to internal service providers and business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Coach and provide feedback to referral partners based on client needs and recommended product services
- Complete required licenses and trainings
- Register with the federal SAFE Act registry and complete required background-check and registration processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66)
- If holding Series 63 or 65 without Series 66, must pass the missing series within 60 days after an offer
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Strong goal-setting and achievement ability
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Effective collaboration skills
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to engage all clients
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new information
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Thorough incorporation of regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and maintaining good standing required
- Availability Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays
- Open availability required
- 40 hours per week
