About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help achieve financial goals
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking solutions, and money-managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners regarding client needs and recommended product services
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location within a reasonable commuting distance is determined

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If holding Series 63 or Series 65 without Series 66, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days as a condition of the offer
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience working in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • Ability to engage all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and identify appropriate client solutions
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent
  • Must satisfy SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration process
  • Spanish bilingual ability is desired
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask are desired
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC are desired
  • Insurance licenses are desired
