About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve financial goals
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Work Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays, 40 hours per week
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center location is determined within a reasonable commuting distance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses, or Series 63 & 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If missing Series 66 but holding Series 63 or 65, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Must complete required licenses and trainings
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration process
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • Ability to engage all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek appropriate client solutions
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Thoroughness in incorporating relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment preferred
  • At least three years of financial service industry and/or sales environment experience preferred
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) preferred
  • Insurance licenses preferred
