About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to internal business and service partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals and financial-center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners regarding client needs and recommended products
  • Complete required licenses and training
  • Work Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays on first shift, 40 hours per week
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until another financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If holding only Series 63 or Series 65, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days of offer
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration
  • Must maintain SAFE Act registration in good standing
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Effective and confident communication with all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and find appropriate client solutions
  • Efficient time and capacity management
  • Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment (desired)
  • At least three years of financial services and/or sales experience (desired)
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC (desired)
  • Insurance licenses (desired)
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking (desired)
