About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through structured lessons and dedicated study time
- Receive training, onboarding, and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers
- Develop business knowledge using a consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
- Build and manage client relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
- Grow a client network and business
- Provide comprehensive advice and conduct client reviews and presentations
- Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners
- Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill banking and investment solutions
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center is determined within a reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Must obtain the SIE within 30 days of hiring and Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
- Minimum high school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and maintenance of good standing required
- Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Bachelor's degree and/or minimum one year of financial services industry or sales experience is desired
- Spanish speaking is desired
