About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to internal business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners based on client needs and recommended product services
  • Apply and expand knowledge through required licenses and training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must currently hold Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If missing Series 66 but holding Series 63 or 65, must pass the missing series within 60 days as a condition of the offer
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Must complete required licenses and trainings
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including federal registry registration, background check, and maintaining good standing
  • Strong goal-setting and achievement ability
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Effective and confident communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new information
  • Efficient time and capacity management
  • Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment (desired)
  • At least three years of financial services and/or sales experience (desired)
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC (desired)
  • Insurance licenses (desired)
  • Monday-Friday open availability plus some Saturdays
  • High school diploma, GED, secondary school or equivalent
  • 40 hours per week
