About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve financial goals
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and recommended product services
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays, on first shift, 40 hours per week
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center within reasonable commuting distance is determined

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If holding Series 63 or Series 65 without Series 66, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days as a condition of employment
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • SAFE Act registration and required SAFE Act background check and registration process
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to learn, adapt to new information, and seek appropriate client solutions
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaking is desired
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment are desired
  • CFP and/or CRPC designation is desired
  • Insurance licenses are desired
