About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized financial solutions to clients
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
- Complete required licenses and training
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center is determined within reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses, or Series 63 & 65 in lieu of Series 66
- If holding Series 63 or 65 without Series 66, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days if offered employment
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn, adapt to new information, and seek solutions for clients
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and maintenance of good standing required
- Full-time availability, Monday-Friday plus some Saturdays as required
- 40 hours per week
