About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money management solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals and financial center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Complete required licenses and training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If holding Series 63 or 65 without Series 66, must pass the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Must complete required licenses and trainings
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration process
  • High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, communication, goal-management, prioritization, and client-engagement abilities
  • Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • Open availability Monday-Friday and some Saturdays
  • Desired: strong computer skills and multitasking ability
  • Desired: at least three years of financial services and/or sales experience
  • Desired: CFP and/or CRPC designation
  • Desired: insurance licenses
