About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized financial solutions to clients
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners
- Complete required licenses and training
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center location is determined
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
- If Series 66 is not currently held but Series 63 or 65 is held, obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days of an offer
- At least 1 year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least 1 year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and maintaining good standing
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek appropriate client solutions
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Monday-Friday availability and rotating Saturdays
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Ability to work within a reasonable commuting distance of home, as applicable
