About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help achieve financial goals
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to internal business partners and service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals and financial center clientele
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners on client needs and recommended product services
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location within reasonable commuting distance is determined
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
- If holding Series 63 or Series 65 instead of Series 66, must pass the missing series within 60 days
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- High school diploma, GED, secondary school or equivalent
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Effective and confident communication; comfortable engaging all clients
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new information and seek appropriate client solutions
- Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
- Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- Open availability Monday-Friday and some Saturdays
- Must complete required licenses and trainings
- Subject to SAFE Act registration, background check and registration requirements; must maintain good standing
