About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve financial goals
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money management solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk through daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Register with the federal registry system and complete required SAFE Act background check and registration process
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center location is determined based on business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses; if missing Series 66 but holding Series 63 or 65, must pass the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Effective and confident communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new information and seek the right solutions for clients
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays schedule
  • 40 hours per week
  • SAFE Act registration, background check, and maintaining good standing are required
  • Ability to work in an in-office culture with reasonable commuting distance to the assigned financial center
  • United States work location
