About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help achieve their financial goals
  • Triage client leads and client requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Comply with SAFE Act registration requirements when engaged in residential mortgage loan originations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses, or equivalent Series 63 and 65 licenses in lieu of Series 66
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Effective and confident communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek the right solutions for clients
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Ability to incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies for clients
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment (desired)
  • Three or more years of financial services and/or sales experience (desired)
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC (desired)
  • Insurance licenses (desired)
  • High School Diploma, GED, Secondary School, or equivalent
  • SAFE Act registration and required SAFE Act background check
