About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through dedicated classes and study time
- Build and manage client relationships and identify client needs
- Provide comprehensive financial advice and recommend strategies aligned with clients’ financial goals
- Deliver client reviews and presentations
- Acquire, build, and deepen relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
- Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions
- Work in a financial center and potentially provide phone-based support until a permanent financial center location is determined
- Progress toward Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II and potential advancement within Bank of America and Merrill
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Must obtain the SIE within 30 days of being hired
- Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
- Subject to SAFE Act registration, background check, and registration requirements
- Spanish speaking is a desired qualification
- Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience is desired
- Currently holding FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) is desired
