About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain Securities Industry licenses through dedicated classes for SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams
- Learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships
- Consider clients’ complex financial pictures and provide advice and solutions
- Work in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care
- Use a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
- Build relationships with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
- Provide comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews and presentations
- Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
- Collaborate with banking and investment partners
- Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions
- Work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays, 40 hours per week
- Train at one financial center and potentially work in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center is determined within reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hire
- Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days of hire; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
- Subject to SAFE Act registration, background check, and registration requirements
- Must maintain SAFE Act registration in good standing
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) is desired
- Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience is desired
- Spanish speaking is desired
