About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building financial plans with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client financial goals and needs
- Triage client requests and refer them to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and recommended product services
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Recommend brokerage products
- Complete required licenses and trainings
- Comply with SAFE Act registration and background check requirements for residential mortgage loan originations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses, or equivalent Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66
- Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- Minimum of one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- Three or more years of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded (desired)
- Achieved additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) (desired)
- Obtained insurance licenses (desired)
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
