About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to clients
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Complete required licenses and training
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location is determined based on business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses; Series 63 & 65 may be accepted in lieu of Series 66
- If holding Series 63 or 65 instead of Series 66, must pass the missing series within 60 days
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Must complete required licenses and trainings
- Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, including required background check and registration process
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Efficient time and capacity management
- Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Desired: Bi-lingual Spanish speaking
- Desired: Strong computer skills and ability to multitask
- Desired: At least three years’ experience in financial services and/or sales
- Desired: CFP and/or CRPC designation
- Desired: Insurance licenses
