About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 licenses through dedicated classes and structured study
  • Learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building and managing client relationships
  • Consider clients’ complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions
  • Deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and client-care approach in a financial center
  • Grow business knowledge using a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
  • Build a network with banking customers, small business owners and higher-net-worth clients
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews and presentations
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners
  • Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center location is determined

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Results-driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired
  • Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements, background check and registration process
  • Must maintain SAFE Act registration in good standing
  • Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Spanish speaking is a desired qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience is desired
