About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through dedicated classes and study time
- Learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships
- Consider clients’ complex financial pictures and provide advice and solutions
- Work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s banking, investment solutions, and client-care approach
- Grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients
- Use a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
- Interact with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
- Build a professional network and grow business through client and household relationships
- Provide comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews and presentations
- Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners
- Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions to meet their financial needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Must obtain the SIE within 30 days of being hired
- Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days of being hired; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and continued good standing required
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired)
- Spanish speaking (desired)
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) (desired)
