About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help achieve financial goals
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Complete required licenses and training
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a permanent financial center location is determined within a reasonable commuting distance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66); candidates with either Series 63 or 65 may obtain the missing series within 60 days of an offer
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Effective and confident communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek the right solutions for clients
- Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
- Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies for clients
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and continued good standing required
- Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays
- Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC are desired
- Insurance licenses are desired
