About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized financial solutions to clients
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Work within an in-office culture with location determined by business needs and reasonable commuting distance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If missing Series 66 but holding Series 63 or 65, must pass the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Must register with the federal registry system under SAFE Act requirements and remain in good standing
  • Must submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Effective and confident communication skills
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and identify solutions for clients
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Monday-Friday availability and rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Desired: Bi-lingual Spanish speaking
  • Desired: Strong computer skills and multitasking ability
  • Desired: At least three years of experience in the financial services industry and/or sales environment
  • Desired: CFP and/or CRPC designation
  • Desired: Insurance licenses
