About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to business partners and internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money-managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners
  • Complete required licenses and training
  • Register under the SAFE Act and maintain required registration
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location is determined within reasonable commuting distance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66)
  • If holding Series 63 or 65 instead of Series 66, must obtain a passing score for the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals
  • Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Effective and confident communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek solutions for clients
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
  • Thoroughly incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • SAFE Act registration, background check, and continued good standing required
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is desired
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask is desired
  • Three years’ experience in financial services and/or sales is desired
  • CFP and/or CRPC designation is desired
  • Insurance licenses are desired
