About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Obtain Securities Industry licenses through dedicated classes and study time
- Learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships
- Assess clients' complex financial pictures and provide advice and solutions
- Deliver Bank of America banking, investment solutions, and client care in a financial center
- Grow business knowledge using a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
- Build a professional network with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
- Provide comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews and presentations
- Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners
- Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a suitable financial center is determined
Requirements
What you’ll need- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
- Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
- Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
- Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Results-driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
- Must obtain SIE within 30 days of being hired
- Must obtain Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
- Subject to SAFE Act registration, background check, and registration process
- Minimum High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree and/or minimum one year of financial services industry or sales experience
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) is desired
- Spanish speaking is desired
