  • Learn foundational financial advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships
  • Consider clients’ complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions
  • Deliver Bank of America’s banking, investment solutions, and client-care approach in a financial center
  • Grow business knowledge using a defined consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriate solutions
  • Build a network among banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients
  • Provide comprehensive advice and deliver client reviews and presentations
  • Recommend strategies to help clients achieve financial goals and life priorities
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners
  • Connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions
  • Progress toward Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II and other career opportunities after demonstrating success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses
  • Must be self-disciplined in managing time and capacity
  • Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration
  • Results-driven mindset while prioritizing client interests in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications
  • Must obtain SIE within 30 days of hiring and Series 7 and Series 66 within 120 days; Series 63 and 65 accepted in lieu of Series 66
  • SAFE Act registration, background check, and good standing required
  • Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Spanish speaking desired
  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience desired
