About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help achieve financial goals
- Triage client leads and requests
- Make referrals to internal business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
- Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
- Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money managed solutions
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
- Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele
- Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
- Complete required licenses and training
- Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a financial center location within reasonable commuting distance is determined
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66); if missing Series 66 but holding Series 63 or 65, must pass the missing series within 60 days
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
- At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
- SAFE Act registration, background check, and continued good standing required
- Ability to set and accomplish goals
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Effective and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and identify solutions for clients
- Ability to efficiently manage time and capacity
- Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask
- Desired: at least three years of financial services and/or sales experience
- Desired: CFP and/or CRPC designation
- Desired: insurance licenses
