About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to clients
  • Triage client leads and requests
  • Make referrals to internal business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals
  • Build financial plans using brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client goals and needs
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals and financial center clientele
  • Coach and provide feedback to referral partners
  • Complete required licenses and trainings
  • Train at one financial center and potentially begin in a phone-based capacity until a nearby financial center is determined

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 in lieu of Series 66
  • If holding Series 63 or 65 without Series 66, must pass the missing series within 60 days as a condition of offer
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent
  • Subject to SAFE Act registration requirements and required SAFE Act background check and registration process
  • Must remain in good standing with SAFE Act registration
  • Open availability Monday-Friday and some Saturdays
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC are desired
  • Insurance licenses are desired
